2-1. My camcorder is not recognized.

Reconnect the camcorder by following the procedure written on the instruction manual.

2-2. Can I use two or more camcorders at the same time ?

You cannot use multiple camcorders at the same time.

If you want use with two or more camcorders, use them one by one.

2-3. Live image is not displayed smoothly.

Live image is not displayed smoothly depending on the environment.

Alter the [Buffer size] setting in this case.

Note that the time lag between the live image will be longer when you select larger buffer size.

2-4. Live image is not displayed.

When using an Android device, live image may not be displayed depending on the environment. Select [Thumbnail playback] in this case.

2-5. How long can I display the live image ?

You can continuously display the live image up to 3 hours.

However, the connection to the camcorder will be disconnected in 10 minutes when using in the Monitor while Out mode. If you want to continue, connect to the camcorder again.

2-6. Why are there three zoom buttons ?

Each button has different zoom level. The outside buttons have larger zoom level.

Tap the zoom button several times to zoom in/out more.

(Holding down the button does not zoom in/out.)

2-7. The file saved on the mobile device is divided into some files.

If data transmission took a long time due to the network environment, the video will be divided in some files.

2-8. How long can I save the video on the mobile device ?

You can continuously save the video up to 30 minutes.

2-9. Can I save the video in the background ?

No, you cannot. The app stops playback and recording of the live image in the background.

2-10. Connecting in the Monitor while Out mode fails and no image is displayed.

Check the following:

  • The date and time setting of your smartphone or tablet is correct.
  • Your smartphone or tablet is connected to the different network from that of the camcorder. (Monitor while Out mode is not available when connected to the same network as the camcorder.)
  • Internet browser is available.
  • The camcorder is configured to the Monitor while Out mode.
2-11. How to check if the Monitor while Out mode is running properly when I am at home?

You can use this mode when your smartphone or tablet is connected to the different network from that of the camcorder.

Turn off Wi-Fi connection of your smartphone or tablet and use the phone line or other network connection to check the operation.

2-12. The setting of the Monitor while Out mode fails and camera ID is not provided.

Retry after checking the following:

  • The camcorder is configured to the Monitor while Out mode.
  • Your smartphone or tablet is connected to the same access point as the camcorder.
2-13. How much is the data traffic when using the Monitor while Out mode?

Approximately 45 MB per 10 minutes.
