Is the USB cable connected to the computer properly ? If the USB cable is connected properly and is not recognized, connect to another USB port of the computer.
Disconnect the USB cable, then restart the computer and reconnect the camcorder with the computer in the correct procedure.
Disconnect any USB devices other than the camcorder, keyboard, and mouse.
If the camcorder is connected via a USB hub, connect the camcorder directly to the computer.
If any resident software is installed, exit and connect the camcorder.
You can start up from [Start] menu - [All Programs] - [Startup] - [Device Monitor 3].
The resident application will start automatically after restarting the computer.

It may cause a malfunction.
If the disc contains SD quality (4:3) videos, the appropriate aspect ratio may not be reproduced depending on the player.
It is recommended to create a DVD-Video if appropriate aspect ratio is not reproduced on other players.
Upload the converted files from YouTube™ / Facebook® Web site directly after converting files to .wmv format from [Share] button.
If you installed security software, the connection between Everio MediaBrowser™ 3D and the Web site may be blocked. Allow Everio MediaBrowser™ 3D to access to the internet in this case.
Contact the security software maker for how to allow specified software to access to the Internet.

If you replaced the memory card after the files are displayed on the Browser screen, it will take a long time to read the information of the replaced card.
Be careful not to replace the cards while Everio MediaBrowser™ 3D is working on the files.
Yes, you can. However, when connecting your Everio with a USB cable, either of the software will start automatically.
To change the software, delete the shortcut as follows :
Select "Device Monitor 3" or "Device Monitor 3D" from the [Start up] of [All programs] in the [Start] menu.
Depending on the software to start, follow the procedures below :
- To start "Everio MediaBrowser™ 3" : right-click [Device Monitor 3D] and select [Delete].
- To start Everio MediaBrowser™ 3D : right-click [Device Monitor 3] and select [Delete].
* The above configuration will be applied after restarting the Windows.
"PixelaTemporaryFiles" is a temporary folder which is created in the destination when exporting to iTunes®.
This folder is usually deleted automatically upon the completion of exporting. Delete the folder manually if it remains after exiting the software.
Due to the function of YouTube™ Web site, the 3D information defined by Everio MediaBrowser™ 3D becomes invalid.
Configure the uploaded file in the YouTube™ Web site as follows;
Click your account name and select [Video manager].
* If your account name is not displayed, Click [Sign in] and log onto YouTube™ beforehand.
Select the video file displayed in "Uploads" and click [Edit].
Enable the button [Saved]. Click the category or select the title and press the [Ctrl] key on the keyboard.
* You don't have to change the configurations.
Click the button when the it becomes [Save chages].
