2-1. My camcorder is not recognized.

Reconnect the camcorder by following the procedure written on the instruction manual.

2-2. Can I use two or more camcorders at the same time ?

You cannot use multiple camcorders at the same time.

If you want use with two or more camcorders, use them one by one.

2-3. I can't save files to the Library.

You can save MP4 and JPEG files to the Library.

Other file formats such as AVCHD and MPEG-2 cannot be saved.

2-4. Can I run the process to save to the Library in the background ?

You can run in the background, however it does not last for a long continuous period.

A confirmation message will appear in 10 minutes after starting the background process. Display Movie Uploader upfront and check the message.

2-5. Camcorder is not displayed on Movie Uploader when connecting the iOS device with camcorder through AD HOC.

Check the following and re-connect.

  • Does the encryption key of the iOS device match with that of the camcorder?
  • If you use WEP for the encryption method, change the WEP index to "1".

For iOS 9, set the IP address for the camcorder and iOS device according to the following procedure.

Camcorder setting

In the AD HOC setting, select [Manual] for acquiring an IP address.
Then, set the following values.

  • IP Address "192.168.101.2"
  • Subnet Mask "255.255.255.0"
  • The default gateway, primary DNS server, and secondary DNS server do not need to be changed.

iOS device setting

Tap the "i" button on the right side of the camcorder network name (SSID) that is displayed when "CHOOSE A NETWORK..." is selected.
Tap the IP address "Static", and then set the following values.

  • IP Address "192.168.101.3"
  • Subnet Mask "255.255.255.0"
  • Router "192.168.101.2"
  • No setting is necessary for the DNS and search domain.
2-6. I can't save to the photo library.

You cannot save the MP4 files recorded in 35 Mbps.

Also check if you have turned on the access of Movie Uploader from iOS's [Settings]-[Privacy]-[Photos].

2-7. While importing the videos, Movie Uploader goes to the background and the thumbnails disappears when I bring the screen forefront.

Thumbnail list is unavailable while importing the videos. Please wait until the importing finished.

2-8. I can't tell if the images of the videos are rotated with the thumbnail list..

All saved video images will be rotated.
