PIXELA Product Q&A
Capty DVD/VCD 2
Q I cannot load a MPEG-2 file created with “PowerDirector” from CyberLink.Inc.
A The bitrate of a MPEG-2 file created with "PowerDirector" from CyberLink.Inc exceeds 10.08Mbps according to the contents. Since MPEG Edit EX for Everio does not support the file that exceeds the bitrate of 10.08Mbps, please use a MOD file shot with Everio or a MPEG-2 file edited with MPEG Edit EX for Everio.
Q I am using PIX-DVRR/FW series (available in Japan). However, when selecting the drive to create a DVD-Video, [DVD-RAM LF-D310] or [DVD-RAM SW-9571] is displayed as a selectable drive.
A If you are using PIXELA's PIX-DVRR/FW1 or PIX-DVRR/FW2, [DVD-RAM LF-D310] is displayed.
If you are using PIX-DVRR/FW3, [DVD-RAM SW-9571] is displayed.
If you are using PIX-DVRR/FW4, [DVD-RAM SW-9572] is displayed.
Q When writing to a disc, drive name does not appear in the [Select drive] box.
A Please check supported drives.
Q I made a slideshow using still images. However, the titles and the still images are not displayed in the same time when playing with a computer.
A A DVD-Video created with Capty DVD/VCD 2 is designed for viewing with stand-alone DVD players. Please use a stand-alone DVD player for viewing.
Q In creating DVD, when I put a MPEG file more than 3GB, an error message “Size limit exceeded. Could not add file” or as such is displayed.
A When you select [PCM] as audio format for DVD-Video creation, the audio data is to be written uncompressed. For example, if you select [PCM] for a 3.8GB of 90 minutes long MPEG file, its audio size will be approximately 1.3GB if uncompressed. The total size will be approximately 5.1GB, exceeding the full capacity of a DVD disc. In that case, please select [MPEG Audio] or [Dolby Digital] that can write without changing audio size.
Q I cannot change the size of the button that I put on the Title Menu.
A To change the button size on the title menu, please put a check on [Free layout] in the [Title Menu/Layout] panel.
