Easy operation - simply drag and drop your movie files onto the Title menu
Launch "Capty DVD/VCD 2" and after deciding whether to create a DVD-Video or a Video CD, all you have to do is add movie files to the Title menu.
Buttons will be created when you drag&drop movie files onto the Title menu.
Now the creation process is complete, so simply click the Run button in the Compile mode. Then you can take a coffee break and wait for your disc to finish writing.

  • 30 Title menus are available and a maximum of 97 movies
or slideshows can be added, so you may want to use your collection of footage.

  • Apply sound to the Title menu to play music in the background when the Title menu is displayed.
Instant use from the abundance of templates
"Capty DVD/VCD 2" provides you with a large variety of templates. Button layout will automatically be arranged depending on the number of buttons you create in the Title menu. You can switch between templates with just one click on a different template.

Create your Title Menu with your favorite images and customized buttons
While you can create menus using the templates, with "Capty DVD/VCD 2" you can also layout your own original menu by utilizing the button templates and using your favorite pictures as the menu background.
Choose "Free Layout" to arrange buttons and text in the menu screens in your own way.

*You can create your original button with images you create with the bundled ButtonBuilder or any graphic software.
You can also specify a frame as a thumbnail of a title button.
Specifying a frame in the movie you placed will set a thumbnail automatically.

Quick Access to Your Favorite Scenes Using the Chapter Menu

You can specify the header of a movie by inserting a marker. A maximum of 97 markers per movie can be inserted.
When you create markers, marker thumbnails will be added to the Marker list window.
This Chapter menu works the same way as the Title menu, which means that in one movie, you can create a menu with access to 99 scenes. It is also possible to set makers without a Chapter menu, which can then be operated with the skip button of the DVD player's remote control.

You can set as many as 30 Chapter menu screens.

For Digital Camera Pictures, Create a Video Album in Slideshow Format
With "Capty DVD/VCD 2", you can use photos taken with a digital camera as well as scanned still pictures to create a video album in Slideshow format.
In your DVD-Video Album, you can display or hide titles of contents with the caption button of the remote control.
Apply sound and now you have a slideshow with music in the background.

Confirm Your Work by Previewing Remote Control
Check your Title menu and button action to avoid wasting your disc in case you find a mistake after the disc is created. The virtual remote control allows you to control playback in the Preview mode for both DVD-Video and Video CD.

How does it work?
With "Capty DVD/VCD 2", you can store multiple movies and slideshows within a disc. When one movie has finished playback, you can change the setting to either go back to the Title menu, or playback the next movie automatically. On inserting a disc, you can also choose to skip the display of the Title menu and automatically start playback of the first movie.

When the Title menu is displayed for a certain length of time, it will automatically start playback of the first movie. You can also choose to skip the opening movie automatically played on insertion of a disc, or replace it with your own original movie.
Note: Neither the automatic/continuous playback functions, nor the opening movie can be viewed in the Preview.
Use DV movies and QuickTime movies as content for your Video Disc
Capty DVD/VCD 2 supports software encoding, so as well as using MPEG files captured with the "Capty" Series, you can also use DVs edited with iMovie or QuickTime movies. You can also use footage recorded on a DVD recorder.
Burn your movie to disc and you're done!
Macintosh equipped with SuperDrive and PIXELA's DVD-RAM/R drives "PIX-DVRR" series and "PIX-SLRR" series, support direct writing to disc for DVD-Video.

  • If you create disc images for Video CD or DVD-Video, you can use other drives along with Roxio's "Toast" to burn discs.
  • In the DVD-Video mode, you can export a "Video_TS" folder to your hard disk and play your movie with the Apple DVD Player.
