VideoBrowser Ver.2/Network Utility Ver.2/Transfer Utility Ver.2 features several applications that enable you to import videos from the camcorder, organize and edit the videos, upload to SNS, and create your original discs.
VideoBrowser Ver.2
- This software can import/export video files, export music files, upload to YouTube™, and upload to Facebook®.
Network Utility Ver.2
- This software can import video files (Wi-Fi), upload to YouTube™ (Wi-Fi), and upload to Facebook® (Wi-Fi).
- * Only available with Wi-Fi (wireless LAN) models.
* Not available with HF M500, HF M506, HF R300, and HF R306.
Transfer Utility Ver.2
- This software can import/export video files, export music files, upload to YouTube™, and upload to Facebook®.
- * Only available with HF M500, HF M506, HF R306, and HF R300.
Functions of VideoBrowser Ver.2
Import videos
Save videos in the computerYou can save the videos in the camcorder on the computer.
This is convenient for freeing space in the camcorder and storing the videos.
Edit video files
TrimmingSelect only the necessary (favorite) scenes from a video file.
TransitionAdd visual effect between video files.
AudioAdd music to videos.
TextAdd text onto videos. You can also configure the text size and visual effects.
Adjust volumeAdjust the volume of the video and music files.
Write onto a disc
Create discs of the videos recorded with the camcorderYou can write videos in the camcorder directly to a disc, or select which videos to write on a DVD or BD disc and add a menu screen.
Play back discs
Play back discs created with VideoBrowser Ver.2Discs created as AVCHD, Blu-ray or DataDisc in VideoBrowser Ver.2 can be played back with VideoBrowser Ver.2.
Sort video files according to themes (Event List)
You can sort video files according to themes or purposes just like the folders in a computer.
One video file can be added to multiple event list.
Upload to YouTube™
You can upload video files to YouTube™.
Upload to Facebook®
You can upload video files to Facebook®.
Convert video file format
You can convert the video file format. Converted files can be used for playing back on a portable media player or uploading to a video sharing Web site.
Export video files to play back on the camcorder
You can export video files to a media such as an SD Memory Card and play back on the camcorder.
Files edited with VideoBrowser Ver.2 can also be exported.
