- Do not operate other software while writing a disc.
- You cannot use PIXELA software that came bundled with a different Canon camcorder with the camcorder with which this version "VideoBrowser SD Ver.1" was bundled.
Operating Limitations
- While "VideoBrowser SD Ver.1" is running, do not switch user accounts and do not set the computer to Sleep, Hibernate or Stand By mode.
- If the computer is configured to automatically enter a power saving mode after a certain period of time, change the Power Options in the Control Panel in advance.
- Unicode is not supported in "VideoBrowser SD Ver.1".
- Even if video recordings are in a supported format, you may not be able to use them depending on the recording method.
- You cannot use "VideoBrowser SD Ver.1" when connecting two or more camcorders to the computer.
- System folders, Windows-only folders, the root directory C:\ and optical drives cannot be selected as the saving destination for the Library or for exporting files.
- Disc writing cannot be performed if the Windows file system is FAT32.
- For [Destination of video files] in the Preferences, select a destination whose length is up to 150 bytes long including the directory path.
- For [Workspace] in the Preferences, select a destination whose length is up to 200 bytes long including the directory path.
- "VideoBrowser SD Ver.1" may not operate correctly when a disc writing software other than "VideoBrowser SD Ver.1" is installed. In this case, we recommend not to use multiple disc writing software at the same time.
- When erasing data on a rewritable disc, the progress bar may not be displayed correctly for some drives.
- While a disc is being written, do not start any operation that may access the hard disk designated as [Workspace]. If any free space on the [Workspace] hard disk is used for any purpose other than creating the disc, the creation of the disc may be interrupted. If other programs are set up to automatically receive files and save them on the [Workspace] hard disk (download files from the Internet, receive e-mail, update anti-virus profiles, Windows Update, etc.), close those programs or set them up so files will not be received and saved automatically.
- Discs created with "VideoBrowser SD Ver.1" may not be played back on some players.

When using the YouTube upload function, the number of videos uploaded per hour may be restricted according to YouTube™ specifications.
