2-1. I want to import recorded videos to the computer.

1. Connect the camcorder with computer using a USB cable, and turn on the camcorder.
2. Put the camcorder to the Playback mode.
   "ImageMixer™ 3 SE Ver.6" will be launched.
3. Click [Video file import] in the "ImageMixer™ 3 SE Ver.6" Launcher.
4. Select the media to import from.
   [SD card (camcorder)] : Imports the videos in the SD card inserted in the camcorder.
   [Built-in memory] : Imports the videos in the built-in memory of the camcorder.
   [All] : Imports the videos in the built-in memory of the camcorder and the SD card inserted in the camcorder.
   [SD card (card reader)] : Imports the videos in the SD card inserted in the card reader.
5. Select the method to import.
   To import all videos in the camcorder, click [Import all videos].

2-2. I want to know the destination of the video files imported from the camcorder.

Default setting is as follows :

1. Workspace :
   [Windows® XP]
   C:\Documents and Settings\(user account name)\Local Settings\
   
2. [Windows® 7/Windows Vista®]
   C:\Users\(user account name)\AppData\Local\Temp
3. Destination to save files in the Library :
   [Windows® XP]
   C:\Document and settings(user account name)\My documents\My video\IMx3SEVer6\(date recorded)
   ! If "My video" folder does not exist, the files will be saved in "My document" folder.
4. [Windows® 7/Windows Vista®]
   C:Users\(user account name)\Videos\IMx3SEVer6\(date recorded)
   ! If "Videos" folder does not exist, the files will be saved in "Document" folder.
5. * Folder names may vary depending on computers.

2-3. I want to change the destination of the video files imported from the camcorder.

In the preferences of "ImageMixer™ 3 SE Ver.6", you can change the destination of the video files imported from the camcorder, and the workspace used when writing a disc.

How to change the destination to import :

1. Connect the camcorder and the computer with a USB cable, and turn on the camcorder.
2. Put the camcorder to the Playback mode.
   "ImageMixer™ 3 SE Ver.6" will be launched.
3. Click [Video file import] in the "ImageMixer™ 3 SE Ver.6" Launcher.
4. Click [Settings(s)] in the menu bar (upper screen), then click [Preferences(S)].
5. Click [Browse] in "Library destination settings", and select the destination.
6. Click [OK] to finish the setting.
   * Select the the destination with sufficient free space.

2-4. ! mark is displayed on the thumbnail of imported video file.

"ImageMixer™ 3 SE Ver.6" cannot find files if, for example, a file is deleted, moved, or its file name is changed in Windows Explorer after being added to the Library.

Add the same file to the Library from [Add files to Library...] or [Add folder to Library] in the [File] menu.

When adding from a removable media such as a USB memory, save the files to the computer, then add them to the Library.
