Important Advice
- To use this software, you must be authorized as an administrator.
- While using this software, please do not use Fast User Switch.
- Your Mac may run DVD player automatically when you insert DVD disc to drive. To disable the auto play, go to [Apple] menu -[System Preferences...]-[CDs & DVDs]-[When you insert a video DVD:] and select [Ignore] from the list.
- Discs in poor condition, such as scratched or dirty discs, may not be used.
- While Mac being connected with any importing devices or running DVD writing, do not switch to Sleep.
- When you connect importing device to Mac using USB 1.1 port, dropping frames in playback or slow speed of processing may occur due to low transfer speed. We recommend to use HI-SPEED USB (USB 2.0).
- For any purposes, you cannot import the contents of copy-protected DVD-Video and DVD-VR discs such as commercial-release DVDs.
- To create discs, you must have a recording device which meets your purpose, and the environment for the device.
- Before start creating discs, please check that the recording device is operating normally, and use discs recommended by the recording device manufacturer.
- As a workspace for creating DVD discs, free space two times the size of the disc you are creating is required in the hard disc to create.
- Please confirm that there is sufficient free space in the memory and the hard disk.
You may not be able to create discs normally if the available space is extremely small. - Please check that no software or drivers that may affect disc creation are installed on your Mac.
- A screensaver or other resident software may affect disc creation.
- You cannot set workspace to a write protected folder.
- Recorded DVD-R or DVD+R discs cannot be written.
- During disc writing, we recommend that you do not operate or run other applications.
- If iPhoto starts when connecting the camcorder, please exit iPhoto then start this software.
Limitations
- Importing may not be performed correctly when importing data from discs created with the software other than ¨ImageMixer™ 3 Mac Edition¨.
- Still images cannot be added to the Library.
- File combination can be done only for MPEG-2 files with same image size, frame rate, aspect ratio, type of interlace and field order, audio sampling rate and number of audio channel.
- When audio channel is Dolby Digital 5.1ch, audio bitrate must be the same as the other files to add to the Combination List.
- When DVD creation, select write drive in the dialog before inserting disc to the drive.
- Writing of double layered disc (DL) is not supported.
- Discs written on DVD-RW may not be played back on Apple DVD player.
- It is not guaranteed that the disc created by this software can be played back with all the players.
- Photo movies (still image slide shows) are not displayed in the Library.
